All it takes for the forces of darkness to flourish is for good men and women to do nothing. In this anthology we are looking for stories where the good guys stand up to the forces of darkness with guns, knives, nukes, or whatever it takes to defeat them…nope, to destroy them. Have some fun and let your characters have some fun vanquishing Satan’s minions. Although your character(s) may be the one kicking demon’s in the face remember they are acting as the hands, feet and trigger finger of Christ so let’s make sure we give Him the glory. Amen?
As long as it fits within the story feel free to straight up share the Gospel. We’re all about sharing the Gospel at FULL ARMOR but keep it within the context of the story and not a contrived in story infomercial. Cool?

Ooh, exciting to find another religious sci-fi mag on here! Love your detailed timeline, very author friendly!
I only just found out about this open call today, 4/23/25, and I don't think I turn something around fast enough, especially since I have no idea how long of a story you are looking for or whether you intend to put these together in a print anthology or a substack anthology or the terms you are offering (are you paying for stories? is it a royalty share system through Pubshare? Is it uncompensated and just meant to be an outreach?)
I will keep an eye out for future items, and plan to see what else you offer!
EDIT: Ah! found the post about your open calls! May I make a very simple and humble suggestion that the link to that post be added to your open call posts? Someone sent me the open call itself with no context, though I was happy I found the "rules" post when i started digging, but it would be nice to have that post linked in the open call as well, especially since substack makes it a little difficult to find older posts sometimes.
Just a helpful suggestion! I will most definitely keep an eye out for future volumes and open calls from you as this sounds right up my ally. I find weird west is the genre I want to write in, and I see you have some offerings that lean that way!
